I wrote this on Saturday night... It was accurate then. I just now posted because... Yeah... That's my answer. ;P Enjoy! <3<3 Wow, it's been a while. 5 months and 5 days. I know only a small handful of people are going to read this, but I like to trick myself into thinking you guys actually enjoy it. This time I have enough to talk about, so I won't have to ramble on like I did last time (hopefully). I will try to include every single little detail I can remember, just for you.  So, what has happened since I left off in January? JANUARY (THE SECOND HALF)- *Um... Nothing. We got called out for snow A LOT, if that even counts as something.  FEBRUARY- *Basketball ended. We sucked. Oh if I recall correctly, we did not win that game I talked about in my last post. Actually, out of the entire season I think we only won 2 games... I don't think I want to play next year. This was a terrible experience. I was tired of the coaches picking their daughters over the rest of us. I wasn't the best player on the team, but for crying out loud, some of my teammates were better than the two girls who got to play at least 35 minutes of the 40 minute games. I think we could have done much better in the tournament if the coaches had played EVERYONE for an EQUAL amount of time. Their two kids can't be the whole team.  *Since I put this with January, it can go here too; called out for snow a lot.  MARCH- *I entered a speech contest (Modern Woodman) and was told I got 4th place. 3rd place dropped out, so I got all excited... Then they delivered the awesomeful news that I was told the wrong thing and I actually got 5th place.  Called out for snow a few times.   APRIL- *Spring break *4th place drops out and I get to go to the next round. I only had a week to rewrite, memorize, and throw some hand gestures and facial expressions in there... I got third place, beating those who beat me in round 1 and 25 other kids ranging from 5th grade to 10th. (Oh yeah!) *I joined a website called 7 Cups of Tea. (I'm an active listener. :3) *I met the cooliest person ever, Grace. (She was the first person I helped on 7 Cups.) I don't know what she would or wouldn't want me to say about her... I'll wing it. Okay, facts about Grace: 1. She's a girl. 2. She lives in a house. 3. She has hair... Yeah, that's good enough. *Scholars' Bowl field trip. We got second place out of 5 competing schools.  *Easter Happened *I went to the link dance. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's where all the eighth graders in the county are invited to a dance at the county's high school. It's eighth graders only. It's supposed to be a way for all if us to meet before freshman year. I danced until it hurt to stand. I did slow dance. I felt bad because my friends were alone while I slow danced though... MAY- *We took the end of year trip to Dollywood (<--- roller coasters mixed with Dolly Parton stuff [she owns the park, hence the name])... It poured rain for about an hour. *Forensics auditions. Again, for those who don't know what forensics is, the kind we do has to do with public speaking, improv, debating, and acting. My audition went terribly.  *I nearly had a heart attack because I actually made the team.  *8th Grade Formal Dance--- IT SUCKED. It was thrown by parents because the school won't do it anymore. Everyone looked like strippers. I wore a dress that the length was between my knee and fingertips. It had sheer sleeves that come below the elbow and they have slits in them. I thought it was too short. I walked into the dance, without paying, and I felt like I was supposed to be going to church. All of the sluts, which is 90% of my school's population, wore strapless sequin dresses that were either fingertip length or wrist length. One girl's dress looked like it was supposed to be a strapless shirt. We were all asking ourselves where her pants were. I'm glad I didn't pay. It was fun, but not fun that's worth $5. I left early too. It was horrible.  *End of year testing. We haven't gotten our results yet... But I can pretty much guess how I did.  English: Nailed it.  Algebra: I don't think I will get advanced like I most likely will in  English, but it wasn't that hard. Science: Pretty well.  History: Barely average. I knew none of those questions. Nobody did. We weren't taught any if that stuff.  *Yearbook day. We got our yearbooks and spent all day signing them. People wrote really nice things in there. :) Also, I was in the yearbook a lot, which shocked me. You only get in the yearbook if you are popular. You only get popular by putting out. I don't put out.  *GRADUATION!!!!! I graduated (8th grade, lol)!!!! 4 more years, and I can go where ever I want. (I'm thinking Arizona or Florida.) I got a few awards, cried like a baby because a close friend is moving, and then we went out to lunch.  JUNE: *Nothing really has happened. I started my summer classes today, or yesterday I suppose, it's past midnight here. It's just working on theater, art, singing, and dancing. It was super fun. Well, that's all folks. Stay tuned for the next month or two, or five, for my next post. ;) Thank you guys for reading this. It does mean a lot to me. Alsoooo, I have been posting to this for a year now. Thanks for the support. Have a good day, or night! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO -Kennedy <3
